Baeg Tobar adds advertisements and donation options to the Web site.
CONTACT: Alana Abbott, Publicist,

January 30, 2007 (Blue Springs, MO) Baeg Tobar (, a premiere online, shared world community of creators of fiction and art, has introduced two new ways for fans to contribute to the website. Like many well known webcomics, Baeg Tobar has added a link to the site to allow readers and fans to donate money to the business to help provide for the costs of website upkeep. "There are a number of expenses to keep Baeg Tobar online and running on schedule," said Jeremy Mohler, founder of Baeg Tobar. "We hope that the donations and ads will help to keep our costs down." Fans will receive Baeg Tobar wallpaper for their computers for contributions of $5, and a print of the month (decided by the BT staffers) for contributions higher than $10.

The website has also started using the new Project Wonderful advertising system, joining notable webcomic clients such as "questionable content," "Sore Thumbs," and Scott Kurtz's "PvP." Created by Ryan North, Project Wonderful ads allow clients to bid on advertising space at a cost-per-day, rather than based on visitors clicking the advertisement to visit the other website. "Project Wonderful is an innovative way to approach website advertising, and we're very pleased to be hosting their advertisements," commented Alana Abbott, Baeg Tobar Publicist. Project Wonderful launched in 2006.
